Since the school year is back in session, you may be looking for ways to spice up your child’s bedroom. Maybe they are getting older and want to choose their own style, or you want to surprise them one day after school. Whatever the case, here are a couple more back to school decorating tips you don’t want to miss out on:
You want to redecorate your child’s room so it will stay relevant and inviting for years to come. After all, no 15-year-old wants to sleep in a cartoon or princess-styled room, do they? Instead, invest in mature furniture pieces that they can use and love, no matter their age.
For example, a comfortable armchair is a perfect place to rock them to sleep now, but will still be ideal when they’re sitting in it, reading or talking on the phone, when they’re older. Essentially, decorate for style, organization and longevity. And don’t be afraid to et your kids add some design and color to their space with an area rug, pillows, or interesting art.
